How my love for sewing started…

When I was 6 years old in Indonesia, I started sewing. I learned from my mum, who was a professional seamstress. As we were very poor at that time, I gave up school to help support my four siblings. Later I started making bags and clothes for myself.

22 years ago moved to Amsterdam. Being a designer and seamstress has become my life’s profession.

I’m now 54 years old - a truly self-made woman. I still learn something every day…

It’s my passion, my hobby, my life - creating beautiful things. It makes me happy, and I hope it makes you happy too!
